Previously, ZYMSCAN users had to wait up to 24 hours for enzyme family predictions, manually curated by our experts. With ZYMSCAN 2.0, you get answers in seconds — without any loss in accuracy. Behind the scenes, we’ve upgraded our AI-driven computational models to deliver real-time predictions, allowing you to search, analyze, and iterate instantly.

2. New Search Options: Natural Language, CAS Numbers, or SMILES

We understand that users approach problems differently. That’s why we’ve made searching in ZYMSCAN 2.0 even more flexible:

• Natural Language: Now, you can use natural language to search for your desired substrate and product. Just type in the first letters of your search and choose from the drop-down menu.
• CAS Number: Prefer the  precision of CAS Numbers? Insert the unique identifier directly in the search field, and select the option from the drop-down menu.

For those who like to search by SMILES notation or draw their own molecule, we’ve kept those features in the “Advanced Mode”.

 3. Never Lose Progress: Access Your Search History Anytime

Your research should be organized and easy to revisit. That’s why we’ve introduced My ZYMSCANS—a personalized dashboard where you can:
